On October 8-9, the ladies are heading to Elkhart Lake to attend an Abide: Heart & Home Conference. This conference is open to all women. The cost is $140 for Friday & Saturday or $90 for Saturday only. What a great time to bring friends for a relaxing weekend! We will have a wonderful time of fellowship, fun, and even learn something about Jesus. A $50 deposit is due by August 15th, with the remaining due by September 1st. The Osthoff Resort will be hosting and is a beautiful resort and hotel.
Our main speakers will be Jennifer Krebbs and Pastor Stacy Carlson. We will have times of worship and several breakout sessions for you to choose from, including: a prayer walk, hotel scavenger hunt, dressing for your personality, an art project, and the topics of “Becoming Home” and “Abiding and Becoming–the making of a Beautiful Heart and Home.” All this with Saturday meals included.
Main Speakers
Jennifer Krebbs is a relatable, down to earth gal who uses her personal life experiences and humor to communicate her love of all things family and her deep faith in God. Raised in rural Wisconsin, Jennifer was introduced to Jesus at the age of five. Within the loving walls of a small rural church, God revealed Himself to Jennifer and continued to do so as she grew and recovered from the shame of childhood assault. She loves God because He first loved her. A pastor’s wife trained at Central Bible College, Jen and her husband, Will, have ministered together in rural Wisconsin for 24 years. They have three children and a sassy schnauzer. Jen loves to share what she knows to be true—the love of Jesus heals and the church, as the body of Christ, is the conduit for the healing to take place.
Stacy Carlson is an Assemblies of God Ordained Minister. She has ministry training
through Master’s Commission. She also completed Missions Finishing School (Global Evangelism Training) through Global Ministry Teams. She has been on several missions trips including trips to Cambodia, Vietnam, El Salvador, Malaysia and Mexico. Stacy was a Staff Pastor at First Assembly of God in Rosenberg, TX for 12 years working with children, youth and outreach ministry. Recently she was the Assistant Pastor at Encounter Church in Kaukauna, WI. In December of 2020 she married Pastor Jon Carlson, Lead Pastor at Hillside Assembly in Gillett. Stacy was introduced to Jesus at a young age and by her high school graduation knew she was meant to be a pastor. Now, she is also a Pastor’s wife and dog mom to Hogan, a very lively American Water Spaniel. Stacy has spoken at several conferences and has a wonderful way of connecting her personal experiences with other women.
