Hillside Switch is the student ministry of Hillside, where middle and high school students hear the good news about Jesus in interactive and fun environments. Switch is a place where students connect with God, with other students, and with older committed leaders who want to help them follow Jesus.

Family Night has classes for ages 0-Adult and runs during the school year. Check our calendar for exact dates.
Monthly Events
Each month, Switch organizes events and trips exclusively for middle and high schoolers so they can connect with God and other students. Some of the trips we’ve done in the past include Youth Convention (end of October), Summer Camp (July), night skiing, and Wisconsin Dells. Some of the events we’ve hosted include the 5th Quarter Party (after homecoming game in October) and our Youth Christmas Party.

Pastor Jon came on staff at Hillside in 2012 and is now the pastor of student ministry. Jon loves dogs and Star Wars.

Who can attend Switch?
Switch is for students in 6th-12th grades. On Wednesday nights, there are classes available for all ages, 0-Adult.
Where does Switch meet?
Switch meets every Wednesday night in the Gym at our Gillett Campus.
Do Switch volunteers have a background check?
All volunteers must have an approved background check before serving.
What can my child expect to do at Switch?
Doors open at 6pm. This gives students an opportunity to connect with friends and leaders, usually over a meal or game. Then, we all head into service at 6:45pm. Every service includes games and singing worship songs. Afterwards, the students break into small groups where they study the Bible together and participate in interactive skill-learning activities.
Do you have to be a Christian to attend?
Switch welcomes everyone. We unashamedly preach and teach the good news about Jesus, but we try hard to create an environment where everyone can belong.
