Kids Ministry at Hillside
At Hillside, our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
We would love to see you and your family visit Hillside Kids. To find the Hillside location closest to you, browse our locations here.
Sunday Kids Church
At both campuses on Sundays at 10:00 AM, your kids are invited to a special service made just for them where they will experience energetic songs, crazy games, amazing science experiments, and a Bible lesson that will have them on the edge of their seats!
Each week features multimedia and interactive services to help kids connect with God and each other. Our passion is to introduce kids to a personal relationship with God and help them grow in their love for the Lord together. We want kids to see how the Bible applies to their lives today, how to talk to God and worship God, how to be filled with God’s Spirit, and how to build lasting friendships.
Our heart is to not only learn these truths for ourselves but to share them with others, so your kids will learn how to share God’s love with their friends and how they can partner with missionaries bringing God’s love around the world!
Wednesday Family Night
At the Gillett Campus on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM during the school year, your family is invited to grow in their faith and friendships at our midweek family night program! With multiple groups focusing on specific age and grade levels, your kids will have fun as they learn what it means to follow Jesus.
Royal Rangers is our boys’ program and Mpact is our girls’ program; both have groups for ages 0-18. Your kids will enjoy high-energy, interactive environments where they can learn important truths from the Bible and life skills that will help them mature into confident men and women of God.
When you bring your kids, please stay for our adult Bible study, featuring relevant topics that will encourage and help you in leading your family, growing your relationships, and following Jesus.
Your first visit
Here’s what to expect when visiting Hillside Kids for the first time:
At the Pound Campus, your child will register with the teacher upon arrival. Please ask a Greeter or volunteer where to find the Kids Church room or follow the signs. Let us know you are coming when you Plan Your Visit.
At the Gillett Campus, first, find the check in station. On Sundays, it is located in front of the kids’ church room. On Wednesdays, it is near the Main Entrance doors. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information:
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child’s name
- Child’s birthdate & grade
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
You can pre-register your kids online so they are in the system before you arrive:
How check-in works
Before Service: You can check-in your child at any available kiosk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
During Service: In the event we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen or you will receive a text message. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
The Gillett Campus has a staffed nursery available to take care of your 0-2 year old during the service. You can access this nursery by walking through the hallway on the north side of the back of the sanctuary. You’ll see the nursery immediately to your left upon entering the hallway. If you need help finding it, please ask a Greeter or volunteer or follow the signs on the wall.
Parent’s Viewing Room
Both Campuses have a Parent’s Viewing Room that is available exclusively for mothers and fathers with infants. There is a large window to see the service and a speaker, so you can enjoy the service in a more private and quieter environment if your child needs extra attention. If you need help finding it, please ask a volunteer or follow the signs on the wall.
