Jonathan Carlson, son of Paul and Ruth Carlson, has attended Hillside since he was a child. He has served the church in many roles and ministries including the youth and adult worship teams, children’s ministry, and media ministry.
After graduating from Oconto Falls High School, he attended UW-Green Bay, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration Management with a double-major in Psychology. While there, he was an active member and leader of the local Cru ministry. He has been on several mission trips to the Middle East and Spain, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with college students and children.
He completed ministry training through the Assemblies of God District School of Ministry and received his ministry license in October 2018. He served as the Youth & Operations Pastor at Hillside for ten years before being elected into the Lead Pastor position in 2021.
