Psalm 136 is one that teaches us to give thanks for just about everything in our lives. “Our hearts and lives should reflect thanksgiving.”
In September we had visiting missionaries come and share their stories, the Kramers, and the Campbells. Please keep these families in your prayers as they continue to prepare to return to their mission fields.
The Juoni family came the end of October and the men from Teen Challenge will be here the end of November. Both have wonderful ministries.
The first annual Women’s Conference was amazing. The fellowship and quality learning pods were highlights of the conference. Many friendships were made and some renewed. Hearts were knit together in love. Since this was the first, I am sure there will be another!
We also had a beautiful Mpact Crowning Ceremony where the Lord has worked in young people’s lives to build character and future leaders. Congratulations!
We enjoyed good food as we honored our pastoral staff in October. We are certainly blessed to have wonderful Godly men and women who assist Christ in our work for His kingdom.
The Community Thanksgiving Dinner is coming, and we need your help. It is on November 24th. If you can help with this effort, please see the sign-up sheet in the foyer or talk to Patty Kurtz. In Pound, please talk with Pastor Dean.
On December 3rd, we will have our wonderful Ladies Christmas Tea, please stayed tuned for more information as the time gets closer. This occasion is always very beautifully done and there are even door prizes and great food.
Also on December 11th, all singers are encouraged to come on out and go caroling in the Gillett area. Last year we had about 20 people and we had a grand time and of course hot tea and chocolate awaited us after our labors.
Ladies, finally I want to tell you that I appreciate all of you and how you help with even the small details in church. I may not see them all, but Christ does. Thanks for your faithfulness to his service.
