Hillside Assembly of God Church in Gillett will begin a new year of youth and children’s programs on Wednesday evenings on September 9th, with a special Open House event starting at 6:20 p.m.!
Schedule of Events
The night kicks off with registration and photo taking from 6:20 to 6:40 p.m. followed by hotdogs and games in the Gym/outside. At 6:50, kids will gather in the Gym for a special presentation. Afterwards, they will find their classrooms and meet their teachers, as well as get to know the others in their class. This will be followed by a special ice cream treat and prizes in each classroom. The night will end by 7:30 p.m.

Boys Groups
“Royal Rangers” is a boys’ program for ages 3 – grade 12. Boys learn practical lessons from the Bible with a variety of themes including camping, sports, lifesaving, first aid, etc. This program has transitioned into a newly expanded program with more themes and opportunities to grow. Boys can earn badges and have opportunities for special trips and events throughout the year.
Girls Groups
“Mpact” is for girls ages 3 – grade 12 and teaches practical lessons from the Bible with various themes that girls can relate to including the following topics: making the right choices, fitness, attitude, peer pressure, family, accountability and self-esteem, just to name a few. There are also fun activities with each lesson. Girls can earn badges and have opportunities for special activities throughout the year.
Middle & High School Groups
Royal Ranger and Mpact classes for grades 6-12 have moved to Sunday mornings at 9 AM. On Wednesday nights, middle and high schools have “Switch” Youth Group, an interactive service featuring games, singing worship songs, and a Bible-based message geared to the issues and questions teenagers face. The youth group also organizes trips and events periodically to help build friendships and grow their relationship with God.
Adult Group
Beginning September 16, all adults are encouraged to join our adult Bible study happening at the same time, featuring relevant studies and topics that will encourage and help you in leading your family, growing your relationships, and following Jesus. Each night has opportunities for discussion and connecting with other adults. We hope you will join us!
When We Meet
Our regular Wednesday night groups will meet 6:20 – 7:30 PM starting on September 16th. Visitors are welcome!
