Mpact Girls Program

In February, the church basement became a construction zone for our construction teams to build a graham cracker house, tree house, ice fishing shacks and anything else their imaginations could think of!  Every building this year was exceptionally creative.  The construction teams consisted of Mpact Girls as well as Royal Rangers. The teams had a great time, and we raised money for missions! The total amount raised was $680. This offering was sent to Convoy of Hope in Europe as they are working with the Ukrainian crisis helping supply people with basic necessities.

Thanks to everyone who supported our annual Pizza Sale!  On April 30th, with the help of many volunteers and kids, we were able to assemble 560 pizzas in under 3 hours to deliver and fill the orders taken! Thanks so much for everyone’s support in this fundraiser.  The money made will go to fund the girls going to Great Girls Escape at Spencer Lake in Waupaca, the annual retreat for Mpact Girls and Teen Girl Ministries in Wisconsin and Northern Michigan.

Daughters of the King  Celebration – our annual Mother/Daughter banquet is being held on May 6th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  The girls had a lot of fun making their own special hats for the Hat Parade on Wednesday night for the banquet. We would love all the women/girls to come join us for a memorable evening featuring our girls from Mpact Clubs and Teen Girl Ministries.

Awards night is coming up quickly!  Please plan on joining us on May 25th for our final Wednesday service as we recognize all the kid’s achievements over the last year!  We will conclude with a sundae treat for everyone!

Great Girls Escape will take place June 24th through the 26th at Spencer Lake Camp in Waupaca. The girls who have attained honor status will be recognized there as well.  Congrats to Hannah Simpson, Girls Only Graduate and Gold Medalist, Carly Kadlec, Honor Star Graduate, Khloe Kurtz and Anna Schaal, Honor Star Graduates and Bronze Medalists. All girls and sponsors who are planning on going, need to be registered by the end of May in order to attend. See Ruth Carlson for more information on registration.
